Bar Ciringuito in Parco Aldo Moro (Rovato) will hosts two interesting rock bands of Brescia : The Edwood and Don Turbolento.
The two groups will play for the first time togheter on the stage “Feast&Gorgeus“, an event organized by some young people from Rovato, members of the cultural association “Cerchia Urbana” and by www.rovato.org, in collaboration with the communal administration and Puntocom Group.
Don Turbolento are composed by Dario Bertolotti (drums, voice) and Giovanni Battagliola (synth, chorus). Their common passion is listening to Primal Scream, Lcd Soundsystem and Supersystem , so in spring 2005 they decided to create the Don Turbolento. The name of the band is inspired by a Yello’s song. The Don Turbolento don’t use the bass and the guitar, but they create an original sound, based on the funky drums and on a powerful synth, typical of a certain wave of the Eighties.
The Edwood have just published their second record called “Punk Music During The Sleep”, celebrated by the press as a little Italian indie-pop masterpiece. Their sound is formed by sweet melodies, electric guitars and electronic influences .
The event will be opened by the Ideal Standard, from Rovato. The concerts will start at 21.00.
Free entrance.
